Buzz-buzz-buzzing in my head

A week full of inspiration.
Two downloaded pedometer apps, one deleted.
Aim to record ten thousand steps a day.
Outside the house.

Also lots of crafty inspiration, even the paper kind.
Too much time spent on Instagram and Pinterest.
But also realized ideas.
Even a sewing project started, to be finished tomorrow.
Water colors in my mind now.
Like in the flower below.
Pretty.

Food for the Gods

It is this time of the year again.
Figs!
I can't resist them.
Fresh, soft and plump.
We buy them by the tray. And eat straight away.
Don't like the dried ones.
Fresh is best.

This is why...

I love where I live.
Surf Life Savers walking around.
People in bikinis and board shorts.
Surfers carrying their surf boards early in the morning
crossing the street with no shoes on.
Laid back holiday wibe.
Even on a normal weekday.

You man, hunt food

The freshest dinner. Tailor.
Caught from our local beach, proudly carried home
and cooked in the backyard.
By the husband hunter man.
It was delicious
and I ate it all.
With Ayurvedic Passion tea :)

Blossom in the pot

Time for tea.
Pretty, special tea.
Little ball of leaves bouncing up and down in the pot.
Until it opens up to a flower.
White tea with Chrysanthemum and Sweet Osmanthus.
I almost enjoyed the brewing process more than drinking!
Lovely.

Sweet devil

I swear these are devil's work!
My favorite salted liquorice lollies from Finland.
A friend came to visit us and brought two HUGE bags of these. And I haven't been able to stop eating.
They are not like normal lollies that make you feel sick when you eat too much...
Oh, well. None left anymore.
Back to sugarfree eating!

Itchy fingers

Australian summer of tennis. I'm hooked on it.
And I have to have a hook in my hand watching it.
And some wool. Sewing won't do.
This is going to be a big throw blanket.
Not sure which year it will be ready. But it will remind me of tennis.
Like the smaller one I made in 2008.
Watching Australian Open in Karratha.
Outside temperature over 40 degrees.
Inside in aircon just cool enough to have a pile of wool in your lap.
